As part of the celebration of the Tercentenary of Freemasonry, a joint meeting of the fourteen London Installed Masters’ Lodges will take place on Tuesday 19 September 2017. Hosted by The City of London Installed Masters Lodge No. 8220, it will be presided over by the Deputy Grand Master, R W Bro Jonathan Spence, who is the Worshipful Master of that Lodge.
The principal item of business will be a demonstration of the very old and unique First Degree ceremony as performed in the Province of Bristol. An introduction and explanation will be given by RW Bro Alan Vaughan, Provincial Grand Master for the Province of Bristol, who has organised a specially chosen team to perform the ceremony for us.
For this unique occasion in London Freemasonry, all are welcome in the Grand Temple to see this very special ceremony. It is an opportunity for every Mason from Entered Apprentice to the most senior Grand Officer, whether or not a member of a London Installed Masters’ lodge, to help celebrate the Tercentenary.
For those wishing to attend the meeting the price for admission to the Grand Temple is £10.00. Admission will be by ticket only.
Please submit your applications promptly as even in the Grand Temple capacity is limited. Payment is required on application.
